Team Roster
My town currently play by Little League rules. One rule is the Minor League teams must be disolved at the end of the season. Minor league is pretty much a dumping ground for the kids who do not make the Major League.
There is talk about moving to Cal Ripken. Do Minor League teams under Cal Ripken need to be desolved, or is the Minor League system a true build ground/stepping stone to get to the Major League under Cal Ripken? Please advise. Coach J |

This is not an officiating question.

When I coached Cal Ripken our league had majors for 11-12 and minors for 9-10. Minors was not a dumping ground, but was totally based on age, and nobody was allowed to play UP or DOWN. I know of other leagues who do differently. But I don't know any league that disolves the minor league after the season. |
