Mechanics question
I had a situation last night that I was slightly puzzled on how to cover.
-1 out, man on 2nd (BU, me, in C position) -batter hits a fly ball that is about 70 feet down the 1st base foul line high in the air -The PU is going down to cover the possible foul/fair catch/no catch Where should I go? I was unsure because the runner at 2nd looked like he was about to tag up (the current fielding team had some troubles, so it wasn't that far fetched) so I was caught thinkings where I would go under each circumstance. thanks
