According to an NAIA document, "The Official Baseball Rules as published by The Sporting News, with NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association modifications (Appendix F) are applied to all contests (preseason, regular season and postseason) when both institutions are members of the NAIA. What I'm wondering is why NAIA plays OBR instead of NCAA rules like they do in other sports.
