Many of the kids I umpired for at the HS level also stayed over at my house many a time. After you umpire a few years, you pretty much know many of the participants. They know you have a job to do. In Summary: If you are going to be a "homer" then you are a "homer" reagrdless of whose playing. Pete Booth
