Gerry Davis has been a big league umpire since 1982. He is currently designated a crew chief.

He didn't seem that tall. I think they said Freddie Patek was 5'10"....lol.

No, same bio source lists Freddie as 5'5" and 148.

His bio list 5'5" but there is a reference to a measurement done for a physical that had him at 5'4"

As I say to my wife, is an inch really much to quibble about?
