I don't hate anybody. I didn't care for Joe West's lawsuit against Riddell, but he's okay in my book otherwise. He does have a very lazy looking punch-out strike 3 call, however.

Cool

I only hope that Jerry Crawford has sufficently recovered from his back injury sustained (presumably) during his rather "unusual mechanics" in making the call at 2B in the Cubs vs. Cleveland game the other night to officiate at the All Star game.

It should be fun, however, watching his belt buckle slowly migrate from where it should be to his hip by the seventh inning.

Crawford was U2. He was standing about at the edge of the grass and 15' or so toward third. During some play, the ball was throw to third, then to second. He had to dive to get out of the way and made the call at second (on a close play) while on the ground.
