FWIW, have to say I agree with MLB this year....not a bad ump in that crew.

I would list the ones I think aren't as good as they could be, but then a certain someone would jump all over me again.

It's interesting to note that Joe West appears in both the Top Ten Best and Top Ten Worst in that poll. I guess that's what you'd call a mixed reaction.

obviously this list is bias...I am curious if you guys here have an opinion on if these guys are truly bad umpires. Bucknor with 7 years of expieriance can't be an awful umpire, but gets the worst rating. any insight as to what these players are rating these umps on.

I did notice that Jim West has made it onto both the best and worst list of umpires...any comments about that?

CB Bucknor is bad. Awful. Bad temper, bad strike zone, bad on the bases. B-A-D bad.

Not saying I'm MLB material, but CB sure isn't.
