And the calling umpire is the one who tells everyone. Even though I am not looking, if for some strange reason my
partner asks, I will get with him and conference (very briefly)

The conversation is "what are you doing, that's your call and I didn't see anything unusual so let's play".

then the calling official tells the coach, we've got an >>>>> whatever the call was and we play.

Having said that today we have first round playoff games and i've got two partners in their first playoff games.

I will make sure that we cover this in pregame (g)
