F2 follows Batter/Runner up the line and retrieves ball. F2 alters his throw to avoid striking Batter/Runner in back of the head. Throw from F2 ends up in RF. FU calls Batter/Runner Out for interference. Any thoughts?

Coach, was the runner in the running lane or not? This is important because if he's in the lane, he cannot interfere with the throw. He is also protected at the end of the lane so he can step out and touch 1st base.

Yes, this is the PU's call because he has the best view.
