False Double?
The other thread about Simultaneous or False Double got me thinking...what if we had a situation like this...
A1 drives to the basket. As he goes up for a shot, he's fouled on the arm by B1. Meanwhile, as A1 continues his shooting motion, and the ball goes in the basket, B2 has established position, before A1 jumped, to take a charge. Possible to have a false double here? On a shot attempt, the ball isn't dead until the attempt is complete, no? So you wouldn't have dead ball contact to ignore (the charge). One FT, lane cleared, then B gets the ball, designated spot closest to foul?
