2 Dead Ball Fouls
This question was on our pre-season NCAA quiz and we could not agree and I there is no AR on it.
A, 2 and 4 at B30. Nose Guard B75 anticipating the snap crosses the neutral zone before the ball is snapped and contacts A56. Left tackle A72 then grabs the facemask of B95 and pulls him to the ground. Some think we enforce the 5 yard foul, award team A a first down, then enforce the 15 yard personal foul against A. A, 1 and 10, B40. I am under the thought that both penalties need to be completed before looking at the line to gain. A, 2 and 14, B40. Thoughts? Rule? Reference? Any help would be much appreciated.
