2nd IT Rulings?
I am not starting this thread to start an argument or heated discussion...
With that being said, Will everyone please tell me how your individual state is interpreting the 2nd IT rule, for the regulation match and overtime. If you are wondering why I want to know... you can read my post on the NFHS forum, titled, "2nd IT ruling from Oklahoma. Thank you in advance for your help. |

OK I'm not sure if you already have this but here in PA we were told at our meeting on12/4/06 that after a second injury timeout the other wrestler has choice for the rest of the match through the overtimes. Now the wrestlers will still start neutral in the "sudden victory" section but if the match continiues the wrestler who did not take the timeouts will have choice of top or bottom.

Yeah PABlue, I was told of your state and Iowa's way of handling this situation. I'm happy that my state didn't go to that extreme. Did your state give you a rule in the NHFS rule book to justify this? I know probably not, as neither did OK.

It was just a e-mailed statment that went out to the rules interperters who then supposed to read it to us. They did not give a specific rule or case book section that we were to read.Just this is our interpertation don't ask any questions.LOL

VA:
After 1st Period but before 2nd: Choice for 2nd & 3rd. After that it is choice for the next restart. After Third Period before OT: Top, Bottom or Neutral on next restart. After OT but before TieBreaker #1: Top or Bottom for the next restart. Anything else is choice after next restart.
