Need a case play.

Hi all.

I'm maintaining our high school (NFHS) association's volleyball website and need some 'Plays of the Week' to challenge our officials to keep thinking about volleyball and reading the rulebook during the season.

If anyone has a sticky play situation that I can use to try and stump the 'experts', I would greatly appreciate it. Also, please include the correct ruling along with the play scenario.

Thanks!

Why not just get a copy of the NFHS Volleyball Casebook and Officials Manual and quote plays out of there?
I'm sure you'll have plenty of plays to keep them guessing all year.

Perhaps encourage your officials to pose the situations they found interesting or difficult during the season and draw from that?

Everyone has a case book and I wanted to use plays that the officials would have to think about and not just look up.

We've also posted the 2007-08 VB Rules interprations on our website so those plays are already available to the members.

I'm really looking for brain teasers here.

Thanks.

Send a message via ICQ to FMadera Send a message via AIM to FMadera Send a message via Yahoo to FMadera
You could borrow from here and adapt the cases/rulings to NFHS rules.
