Scorekeeping question

Pretty simple question. What do I do when there's no more room on the scoresheet for substitutions in one position?

Keep track elsewhere on the score sheet -- some blank space, or the comments section, or ... OR, back at the top with a different color.

I was working a USAV scoresheet. I even took a picture of the sheet with my phone, so that I could show what I was asking about, but I couldn't figure out how to put the picture into my post.

I did get an answer from another source. The answer is to use the next column and then "box" the extra subs in the wrong column.

Wish I could've posted the pic here. Oh well.

This is correct. You can go to the next column and start closer to the bottom, as you wouldn't need those spaces (since they'll run out of subs).
