Flash - Not Photography
During last night's regional final match, at (after point 24; before R1 beckoned for serve) set point, the student section turned on the flashlights on their phones and began waving them (as if they were at a concert).

Sounds like a steady light, vs. on/off like a flash pic?
I'd treat it like a steady light for someone video recording; we can't allow it. But the fact we've gotten to regionals and it's (seemingly) been allowed all year is...concerning.

I didn't allow it last night and the coach looked at me like I had an extra eye in my forehead. Something to do with the fact that the students were only on her side of the net -- but of course, that doesn't mean the other team isn't looking over / through the net and would see the lights in the background.
