I'd personally propose removing the rule. If a kid is comfortable changing quickly behind the bench, what's the problem? Are we really worried about seeing a girl's sportsbra? Maybe there's some concern about child predators? But that seems less likely to me.
When I work USA tournaments, whole teams whip off their warm up t-shirts and put on their game jerseys at the bench. Nobody bats an eye. Last edited by Scrapper1; Sun Aug 14, 2022 at 02:27pm. |

Things Change
We had a situation at a state final where a team brought a changing screen to the team bench and attempted to use it to change their warm-up shirts into their playing shirts. It was quickly eliminated.
