Hands part of the bat.

Here is one front tonight's WCWS game. Hailey Wagner, Michigan's Pitcher/DP hit a pop up on the infield. From the live play I thought the ball hit her on the hands and was popped up off her hand. She certainly acted like it hit her hand as she was shaking her hands going back to the dugout.

If a player swings and the ball hits off her hands, isn't this supposed to be a dead ball strike, rather than a pop out.

Overall I thought the umpiring was pretty decent this weekend, although the umpires strike zone seem a bit wide tonight. It was wide for both teams though.
