I like working these games because I'm usually teamed up with a partner who needs experience. And I usually see rule violations in these games that keep us on our toes.

Actually our association does a very good job training and mentoring new officials. We work and train year round.

Most of our games High School games are 2 umpire mechanics, the excretions being Freshmen and the 2-3 schools who request only 1 umpire for their Varsity games.
