That would be true in this case. I still think they are morons with some of the junk they spout. Then again, you should read what the SP guys think of those who announced the Border Battle.

And just to prove that I may have been wrong , I contacted one of the umpires while in OKC to find what information was available and reviewed the printed copy last night.

Sort of strange that it is easier to maintain and update an online version than print, but it isn't. However, even in the print version, this was NOT included in the body of the rules.

Flipping thru the channels a week or so ago I saw the USA Futures vs. USA Mens Slow Pitch game. I was able to watch it for the first inning and I noticed that the players were taking a stance with their toes on the line and the heal outside.

I am almost positive I recall ASA being marked all over the place.

I see beer signs all over stadiums, does that mean they own and run MLB & NFL, does it? You probably saw ASA marked all over the place during the WCOS, yet that was ISF ball, not ASA. If it were, most of the bats would have been disqualified.

Did you see the SP players running out HRs? That certainly isn't ASA, but ISF.

This is actually something that has come up every year among the SP players and since the camera angle is weak and none of us know how the umpires were instructed..........
