Coed softball

Two games of this last night. They behaved. We all had fun. But it is still very, very boring ball.

I'm working the games solo. About the 7th inning, one of the offensive team asked me to keep an eye on one of the outfielders coming in too far.

Seriously? Anyone have any idea how the plate umpire working solo is supposed to know if the outfielder is behind the line or not?

I also had the sun behind the player.

Rita

Just remind them of the rule. They may think you actually caught them.
