"On the first play/throw on the infield after the ball is hit, if a thrown ball is not caught or is mishandled by the receiving defensive player, the batter/runner and all other runner(s) will be permitted to advance at their own risk no more than one extra base beyond the one that they are advancing to, if no additional play is made on the runner(s). The one extra base rule will be governed by the position of the runner(s) at the time of the throw. Should the defensive team make a subsequent play on the runner(s) during the advancement, the initial one extra base limit will be removed and the runner(s) may advance further at their own risk."
So ... if the fielder CATCHES the ball and does not mishandle it, the runners can run all they want, right? "The ball is declared DEAD and all play is suspended when: i. The pitcher enters the pitcher’s circle with the ball in her possession ii. OR if an overthrow occurs returning the ball to the pitcher, who has BOTH feet within the pitcher’s circle AND the ball CROSSES THE PLANE of the pitcher’s circle" So ... if the pitcher CATCHES the ball that is thrown to her, the ball is not declared dead, right?

In other organizations, simply having the ball being held on the body (under arm, between knees, etc.) is acceptable where ASA requires the pitcher to actually control the ball in the hand(s) and/or glove.

I did. But hey, if the language is not understood, it's the fault of the reader, not the writer, right?

If you would take the time to read threads and comprehend the entire thread, perhaps you wouldn't stick your foot in your mouth. It was clearly stated that this pertains to Local Rules.
I now return you to ignore.
