The F1 must have Control of the ball, not Possession.. For the LBR 8-7-T.

I don't think the reference is ASA. However, ASA does say possession and control which for their interpretation, the two are somewhat synonymous.

In other organizations, simply having the ball being held on the body (under arm, between knees, etc.) is acceptable where ASA requires the pitcher to actually control the ball in the hand(s) and/or glove.
