Rec Ball

Great Day of Rec ball. Horrible softball, crazy coaches, Girls had a good time an I got to work with one of the young guns who I have seen come up through the ranks.

It was fun to see his face when the coaches, who are familiar with him, asked him if 'the new guy (me) was ok etc. Happened every game.

I'd love to one day get the chance to work with you! That would be fun!

I would enjoy working with you too. It was nice to go back to where it all started, At least level wise, and have some fun.

One coach tried to show his butt, but after a little talking to he was much calmer.

I did, and it was.

In spite of "the coaches, who are familiar with him, asked him if 'the new guy (me) was ok "

And he said, "yes"?

I did say yes, we had a good time. I think I am safe in saying we both learned from each other. Really, that is what going to a national is all about for me. I know, there is 'prestige' in being selected, but the best part is hearing the stories and working with people that you may never see again, and picking the brains in the room when you sit there for 7 hours waiting for someone to realize that the radar is right, and it is not going to stop raining before the tournament ends.
