Even when I told her I'd have to drop some serious cash on equipment to go to FP, she didn't have too big a problem with it. She shouldn't. She's practically got a brand new kitchen and a new car out of the deal, so I think she came out ahead. No, but seriously... She's very supportive of me as an umpire, and that's very helpful. She'll even come to my games every now and then. She doesn't understand everything, but she certainly tries and asks questions afterward.
