I wish we could take up a little of y'alls slack here. Drought conditions for a third year in a row.

I think the Dallas/FW metroplex finally got some rain.....but it may have stayed west of them.

Caused some power issues here on the coast in the last few days due to salt building up on power line insulators on the island and on the mainland. Usually, normal rainfall will wash this build-up off and keep things running smoothly.

TAPPS (private school) playoffs have already started and the Texas UIL playoffs start on Friday 4-29.

I asked our assignor to add 'em all up last night...

459 canceled games since March 1. 95% of them are rain / weather related. The others were eligibility, transportation, or JV teams dropping.

I've had 31 assignments so far and 17 of them have been rainouts. No bueno.
