Back in the Saddle

After taking a brief hiatus from officiating to go back to coaching, I am back.

I had forgotten how much of a pain the "a" that the parent's egos are to deal with. Even with not having a kid on the team, and being objective, there is no relief from the drama.

I figure, if people are going to hate me, I might as well give them a good reason.

Done about 10 games in the past few weeks and enjoying it.

Good to see that you are back, question is............how long will it take you to unlearn all the coachisms?

Just remember, the hands are not part of the bat!

No problem there. But what pocket do I keep the rule book in?

I don't know about that, just remember that you keep your hot dog in your spare ball bag.

But, as I learned this year, the foot is part of the base.

Here is an affirmation of my unlearned coachisms: In many cases, the coaches the head is part of his a-s-s.
