NFHS unreported sub
Ok, Federation says for the first offense of unreported sub it is a team warning and the next offender on that team will restricted to the dugout along with the head coach. There is no mention of an out. If a runner is on base at the time it is brought up to the umpire, and there is no out, what does that runner do just go poof and she is off the base? Since there are no outs, does a sub have to take her place? Seems like one would have to but there is no mention of it. Dave

Don't understand what you mean "she is off base" in your question.
If this is the second incident, the runner is restricted to the dugout along with her coach. A substitute takes her place. If there are not any substitutes available, an out is taken. |

If the unreported sub is a runner on base and it the first offense by that team, issue the team warning, record the substitution on play on.
