It seems to me I have been told that making the pitch is considered a play. Am I wrong?

By ASA's definition, a pitch is not a play.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

ASA Definition a pitch is not part of the play. This is what the coach was arguing.

Once one pitch is thrown the UR Sub is know in the game.

Because the UR Sub was not part of the play we have nothing.

BTW the PU stated to the UIC (Jim Craig) he knew the coach did not report the sub.

I asked why he didn't use some preventive umpiring and ask the coach if he had anything to tell him.

PU said, "where do you draw the line". The UIC said (for ASA) never.
