You forgot to mention that he had a 'B' team (on their good days) competing in an 'A' tournament.
Aside from that, I agree completely and emphatically with your statement "You don't like a rule, work to get it changed, don't just ignore it. With the exception of speed limits, I follow that same approach in life.
