2-man SP Mechanics Questions
Got to work 2-man SP last night to help train a new guy. Well, not new to softball - he does D-II, D-III, CC, NFHS, ASA-FP - but new to slow pitch.
Anyway, Sitch: R1 on 2B, R2 on 1B. B3 hits to F6. F6 makes a tag on R1 with the ball for an out, about 1/2 to 2/3 the way to 3B. Who's call, PU or BU? BU's all the way over behind F4, and PU's still coming out from behind F2. PU has all calls at 3B on the lead runner, but this isn't at 3B. BU has a poor angle for a tag, and is 70-80 feet away Page No. in ASA ump manual would be helpful, but if not...

Well no schitt we're not gonna guess the out... I'm just confused by the part that has the PU taking all calls at 3B except for the last runner... but there seems to be a "no-man's land" of who's call it is between 2B and 3B.
