SP Rules Differences

I am looking for a guide on Slow-Pitch Rules Differences between the different codes. Can anybody help?

And what would be the major Rule-Set used in the US?

We prepare a big tournament and I am in charge of the umps. But reports from the last tournaments show that some teams have been very inflexible when it comes to the ruled they have to play under.
Therefor I am looking for major rule-sets and their differences. If possible including ISF, but I can do that by myself, since I have that book.

Thanks for you Help

Raoul

Why would you want the differences rather than the rule set you'll be enforcing?

I've never heard of a SPRD publication. Though it would be interesting reading.

Probably because he's not umpiring in the tourney, but rather, he's organizing the umpires who may be more familiar with other rulesets. I will advise that if this is the case, you could be setting yourself up for trouble. Rulesets are like women's names: you don't want to mix them up, especially when it gets heated.

By the way... I love the login name, soundedlikeastrike. You must do SP?

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Well I will umpire AND organize the umps I suppose ...

The Tournament will be in Germany but with teams from all over the world. In the past Tournaments they always had big discussion about which ruleset to use. Officially they say ISF but especially Teams from the US demanded different rulesets to be used.

I want to know the differences to be prepared for such a discussion. Especially since I am not sure if the discussion was mainly about distances (275ft vs. 300 ft) or about other parts of the rules.

THX
