Olympic Baseball Tiebreaker
What are they thinking?
http://www.newsobserver.com/sports/story/1154630.html Baseball will be using a tiebreaker should a game reach the 11th inning. Unlike softball, baseball is putting two runners on base (1st & 2nd) and allowing the teams to ignore the batter due up and start the inning at any point in the batting order. IOW, if #5 was the last batter in the 10th, the team may begin the 11th with #1 if they so choose. |

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |

Unfortunately for the sport in the olympics, very very true.
