Olympic Baseball Tiebreaker

What are they thinking?

http://www.newsobserver.com/sports/story/1154630.html

Baseball will be using a tiebreaker should a game reach the 11th inning.

Unlike softball, baseball is putting two runners on base (1st & 2nd) and allowing the teams to ignore the batter due up and start the inning at any point in the batting order.

IOW, if #5 was the last batter in the 10th, the team may begin the 11th with #1 if they so choose.
