Would you fix this mistake?
JO Tournament, 16U, ASA rules
R1 on 1B, 1-1 count on B2, PU calls IP, B2 swings and misses. PU re-sets count to 2 - 1. B2 hits next pitch into LF for single, R1 stops at 2B. Umpires confer; agree that no one advanced runner on IP; agree that R1 would have easily made 3B on single; agree to advance R1 to 3B. D-Coach objects, says that a pitch was made after the IP. Umpire invokes rule 10, ruling his authority to correct his error (failing to advance runner on IP). Do you agree with umpire? Or coach? WMB
