As has already been noted, the rules are pretty much the same as they are for all other age divisions. The courtesy runner, by rule (in most rulesets) must be a player who has not been in the game in any other capacity. However, that said, some leagues do allow CR's who have already been in the game, superceding the rule in the book. That would make this a league issue if it is the last out, a player currently on the bench....etc. So, in this case, your question would be better directed at league officials for an accurate answer.
