[ASA Co-ed SP] Walk question
Is it an ASA Rule or a local rule that if a male batter draws a walk with 2 outs, the next female batter also walks? I'm trying to figure out this rule for future reference.
We had a bye week last week and we could only manage 5 runs this week. No AA moments this week, but our umpire seemed to like calling his strikes by pointing at the plate as he verbalized "strike". Never a dull moment when it comes to SP.

Its optional. The coed league I play in has the same rule. The intent is so you dont walk the dudes just to pitch to the wimmins.

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |

Thanks.
