tonight girls varsity game loose ball both team try for the ball A1 and b1 are on the floor A1 secures the ball starts to dribble then get to her feet, Thr officials called travlinh. How could it have been travling she was dribbling the ball.

If the dribble was stated before getting up, and continued as the player got up, then this was a bad call.

Agreed. But this happens so infrequently, that people think it's a violation just because it "looked" so bad. Good play on the player's part--most don't know they can do that.

Had one of those last night in Boys Varsity.
Player was on one knee started his dribble and stood. His team kept the ball.
