If the league wants a more lax approach from the officials, that's fine by me, and I won't call the out (maybe a live ball or call it "foul"). However, I'd want the league to declare these expectations to me beforehand, rather than after the fact. The last thing I'd want is phone calls for doing my job with fluctuating sets of expectations.

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |
