My first marathon of the year.
I worked six games yesterday. Three FP games in a high school tournament (JV, one man) in the afternoon, then three more (mens slow pitch league - two man) last night.
The final tally: Two cities, two completely different uniforms (including shorts for the nightcap), three run-rule games, two foul tips off the forearm, one 45 year old catcher questioning my strike zone, one illegal bat discovered...and $257. The legs are real tired, but overall I'm suprisingly not very sore. |

Stu said "...(including shorts for the nightcap), ..." With temps in the low 40's & upper 30's today, I was just glad to be on the field - even with 25 different layers on. You know what you can do with your shorts, right?
