A question for ASA slow pitch guys

why do I keep hearing Rainman say "it's definately time to go to Kmart and buy my long white socks with big blue stripes".

I guess I missed the memo that says the 1970's tube sock was the prefered sock with shorts. Heck, our state UIC wears the ankle socks with the ASA logo on them just like I do. The ONLY time I wear pants is if I'm doing FP and yes, we wear shorts during some state championship play.

"How to look dignified (or kuel, dude) while wearing shorts." I'm surprised nobody wants the baggy shorts that hang below the knee and expose the boxers. Do you also wear adjustable caps backwards, too?
