white catchers mitt in cif-ss

can you use a worth liberty series (white body w/green trim in high school games in cali?

yes i was but just checking

just got an e-mail from the cif softball rule inturpreter also he said that the only way it could be removed is if it was a distraction to the batter.

I'm fairly ignorant, so please answer this for me. How would the catchers mitt distract the batter?

I've seen about 7-8 of them this spring (fielder's gloves, no catcher's mitts). Some in college, some in HS. Must be a new fashion trend.

White mitts are easier to spot at 9:30 at night, when you and your daughter are looking for it at the practice field.
