I understand that in the off-season, the mask-hanging apparatus can be used for a colonoscopy. I wonder if insurance would cover that? Guess you would need to contact Bollinger?

I wear 2.. I almost dont know how I got along so long only wearing one... that is a lot of stuff I need to stuff into 1.. so 2 makes it much better. One is almost administrative in nature..

And it looks just fine.. and as a bonus, I have ASA on both sides...

And my mask hook fits just fine between the opening of the ball bag.

Youv'e seen the kids with their sneakers with wheels in them... well we now have ump shoes with a brush in them. Just lift those toes to expose the bristles and sweep with your heel.

And for those big jobs or when the plate is wet and muddy, the left shoe has a plate scraper to dig out.

Place your order now, only 69.99 per pair.

Never bend down again and expose yourself to ridicule, get your Ump Shoe Brush, NOW...

(Also available in wider widths...)
Well for slow pitch, thats a lot of work.... there should be a regular ole kitchen sweeping broom leaning against the backstop that you can use.. pretty much a must have at all decent beer league venues.

So what do you use your pants pockets for? Not trying to insinuate anything at all...... but why can't administrative stuff be held in trouser pockets? Elsewise...why do we have them?

we have them because pants are suppose to have them but on a larger framed individual, (I'm not fat I am big boned) these pockets become all screwed up from squating making them hard to get things into and out of, or maybe I just need bigger pants.....back pockets are ok, for like lineup card holder....but even that gets hung up when squating at home....again maybe just my closet light shrunken pants (I can't be getting bigger) are the issue....but I look much more professional pulling things out of my ball bags than trying to fumble with my pockets...just my $0.02 worth

I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason I wear two bags is at the collegiate level they have to supply us with 5 game balls. It is really hard to carry 4 softballs in one bag. Yes, I also keep my plate brush and my line-up card wallet and bat ring in there as well. At the sub collegiate level, I wear two because often I can talk HS coaches into supplying me with 4-5 game balls, so that we won't have to stop play while we wait for the fouled off balls to be returned. Also, I keep all the aforementioned things in my ball bags as well, simply because it looks better and they are more convenient.

I usually have 3-4 game balls and then all my other stuff and its just too crowded. I usually like to keep 1 game ball and my line up card holder and bat list in my second bag.. I've found it to be much more manageable. I'm one who thought 2 bags was lame too, until I tried it.

Because that is the way pants are made? Do you think it would be more economical to have Fechheimer manufacture a specially designed pair of pants for a limited market?

How about the pockets in the ball bag? I think there was probably a reason for them.

Personally, I'm not a two-bag person, but I still don't use my trouser pockets for anything other than a handkerchief.

I usually have nothing in my pants pockets. Certainly not a wallet, car keys, or other "visible" items. It is an appearance thing.

I have for some time used the Ump-Attire ball bag with the zippered storage pocket. I put car keys there, sometimes a money clip. Everything else (lineup card holder, brush, indicator when not in my hand, bat ring, etc.,) goes in the ball bag or stays in the car. For some tournaments, they supply card-stock lineup cards that don't need a separate holder. Sometimes I'll slip those in my back pocket.

The Ump-Attire bag is handy because of the zippered pocket, but otherwise, I have mixed feelings about it. The navy blue fades too quickly and too much, and the bag itself is kind of "thick." But, I'll continue to use it for its practical advantages.

Last season, I started regularly using a second ball bag. I do like the extra room - the ability to keep game balls separated from other stuff, the room for more than one extra game ball, etc. - but it is entirely a practical thing with me. I know some favor two bags for the "balanced" look.
