I bought their plate shoes, and was very happy with them. Good shoe, light weight, great price, free shipping.

All good.

Their shoes look like the old Honig's model. If so, good shoe, but heavy. Good price.

I'm annoyed by an official's equipment dealer that only recognizes baseball.

I suspect it may make a difference if you request something on backorder, but I had my order in about 7 calendar days. I believe they ship from California, either UPS or USPS; and I am in Georgia.

I, too, ordered the plate shoes based on Steve's recommendation and the price. I'm happy with the shoes. It did take about two weeks for me to receive them from my online order. I'm in AZ, the company ships out of CA. I placed a follow up phone call and found out the owner had been out of town for a week and was catching up with orders.

There is another thread on the baseball board about this particular supplier that you might want to check out also.

I think it is hit or miss with this supplier - I understand he is a one-man shop and when he gets several orders, it takes longer to get them out.

Angry not sure about Inhousesports.com

I have been waiting for an order, now for about three months. I had even forgotten I had placed the order. Was charged and promised delivery but nothing. Now I can't reach the website (inhousesports.com) and a phone call goes to voice mail.

It was about this time last year that I ordered also. When I called to follow up on my order, I only got voice mail as well.

The gentleman (can't remember his name now) did call me back a few days later and tell me he had been out of town at the NASO convention. He was returning phone calls and shipping orders that day. I believe the NASO convention just recently wrapped up in the last few days.

That's what I meant about a one-man shop....If he takes some time off, his business comes to a standstill...hope it works out for you.

His Diamond protective equipment is 30% to 50% higher than other's. I can buy his basic chest protector at MC Sports and take it home with me - and save ten bucks.

I can also order on-line at Honigs and have it at my door (UPS) the next day. And if there is any problem or issue what-so-ever, it goes right back and is immediately replaced, or credited. No fuss; no problems.

High quality; excellent service. Worth the extra buck or two.

Bought shoes from Inhouse two months ago . . . no problems with delivery - excellent response and good customer service. Needed to exchange the size - without a hitch.
