Question

New NFHS rule 8-3-4....

Clarifies that when a runner passes a base,
she is consider to have touched it for the
purpose of an appeal.

If runner is consider to have touched the
base, guess appealing for missing that base
is plum outda question huh??? []

Just seeing if anyone sleeping??

Glen,
Not quite. The runner is assumed to have touched the base for purposes of force outs and/or any happening or infraction which requires that this particular runner safely advance at least one base. On appeal, this runner can be called out for the missed base (not for the force).
