Tom is a friend of mine. I've had him work in DE before and he has an open invitation as an instructor at our state school.

He's only got one bad habit. He's involved with his school's baseball team as a coach

I meet Tom years ago at my first state championship in Nebraska. Tim Watts had met him and invited him to umpire in a tournment he was UIC for. He helped me a great deal and I credit him for helping me end up in the championship game of that tournment. I then had to drive back to Lincoln to work my league games late that Sunday. In my last game of the night I had Mr. Watts and his team. Tom, who was staying with Tim, came out to watch the game. Needless to say I was trying working hard at staying on my toes after a long weekend.

I also just recently attended the slowpitch camp in Atlanta with Tom. He e-mailed me shortly after to let me know he got selected for the Hooters seris in Oklahoma City. I guess he can cross off another state.

I get the privledge to call with him in August when I return to Nebraska to work in the same tournment I met him at so many years ago.

Fozzie
