NF Pitching - Warming Up
No book handy....Need help....
Starting pitcher is injured when receiving a throw from one of her players. She is substituted for in bottom of 3rd. Several batters later, starting F1 returns, (same 1/2 inning). Umpire will not allow any warm-up pitches due to fact it is same 1/2 inning. Discarding the fact that F1 was injuried, Is there a rule stating that a pitcher who returns in the same inning is not allowed any warm-up? Thanks
