Not a charged conference. Coach may observe pitcher during warm up provided coach leaves field promptly when pitcher completes warm up pitches. I'm sure you did not call "Time" nor did coach delay game.
I think you went too far. If your partner thought it should have been a charged "conference", how come he did not inform coach? Why did your umpire partner wait for you to ask him his opinion prior to you saying anything to coach? Sam [Edited by U of M Sam on Aug 15th, 2005 at 10:12 PM]
