ASA Rules and Training - where?

I am looking to gain training - via clinics, DVD's, VHS, etc. -in ASA Rules. I would like to attend training clinics, if available, to learn ASA rules and techniques.
I am in Northeast Ohio and would appeciate any help in finding this.
Websites, State Associations, Local Associations, etc.?

Look up ASA on the internet. Find out who is the ASA UIC in your area. Contact him/her for information. You have to join ASA to get their rule books and attend their training sessions.

There are several ASA associations in Ohio, and I don't know the geography. There is Cincinatti, Cleveland, Dayton, and Ohio (maybe others, not sure). Look at http://softball.org/about/contact_us.asp, and pick the best for you.

ASA has a good selection of training videos in VHS and DVD formats. If your local/state/metro doesn't have these, you can buy these from ASA.

Just the tape of Henry Pollard talking about one-man mechanics is worth the price of it all. Anyone who hasn't seen it ain't really lived.

I was so lucky to work with Henry Pollard as UIC a couple of time...
Olimpic Qualifier Tournament in Italy 2003 was the first.
Olimpic Test Event in March 2004 in Athens was the second.
Every single word he could tell to you about umpiring is a sort of discovery, every and each time.
No matter if he's talking about something you listened to several times. You listen to him and then... everything seems simple, clear and reasonable, I can say logic ('why don't I think about it this way before?')

Plus, try to imagine that my mothertongue is italian. Sometimes could be hard to understand his (lovely?) Virginian accent, but communication is not only about language and Henry Pollard has got ALL the right skill to communicate - no matter where are you from!

If anybody of you over there ('cross the Ocean) will meet him, say 'hello' from Italy! We've got great memories of this unique UIC!

What we could use around here (Balto) is a class on how to be an effective Clinician !
