While we're on the subject of bases left too early, or tag up's on a caught fly ball, and who's watching what consider the following scenario:

Bases juiced: Normally in this sitch as BU I would be playing myself 2-3 steps behind and off the right hand side of F6. This almost puts the R3, pitcher, and R1 in a straight diagonal line and it's pretty easy for me to see if R1 or R3 left too early or failed to tag up and I can also watch the pitcher. Is the PU supposed to be keeping an eye on R2 in this situation as the R2 is right in his line of sight? Kind of hard to watch for an illegal pitch and watch all 3 runners at the same time.
