I believe the point of his post was to try to get us to say that Non banned bats that are made of composite material should be thrown out as well. As far as that goes the associations make the rules that we are to enforce. The Synergy 2 is legal in all associations including the newer stricter ASA bat standard thus should and will be allowed. If you have a local rule that bans all composites then the local umpires should have a list from your associations directors of which bats to allow or not allow and not just make a blanket statement and expect the blues to take the heat for it. IMHO of course.
